Bios

 Jessica Coffey is a disabled veteran, a mom, and a neurospicy sci-fi/fantasy romance writer. Like any good Xennial, she is obsessed with all things space, fae, and magical and her stories reflect that. She writes about women finding their strength, their people, and their purpose. When she isn't writing you can find her with her husband and friends testing out their monthly Universal Yums box, watching nerdy 90's movies with her nearest and dearest, or maybe tearing out a wall she decided didn't fit her vibe. Jessica Coffey is a speculative romance author with books that range from sapphic fantasy to paranormal romance and dystopian sci-fi. Her stories focus on strong women on a journey of self-discovery, acceptance, and destiny. Queer, neurodivergent, and disabled characters are in the forefront of almost all her tales, and she focuses on strong emotional attachments between her characters, often with open-door spice. 

Jessica is currently enrolled in an MFA in Creative Writing program at Southern New Hampshire University and a member of the Alpha Phi Beta chapter of Sigma Tau Delta; she expects to graduate in late 2026.  She has a collection of collegiate education, including a Bachelor's in Human Services Management, with many years of other specialties she didn't degree in. (She thanks her ADHD). Jessica has lived all over the world, but now calls the foothills of South Carolina home. 

When she isn't writing, she can be found with her kids or planning her next DIY-can she replace drywall, tile, or build furniture? Yes, yes, she can. She loves to hang out with her family and watch movies- themed snacks and decor included. This summer she's watching her list of 'must see before college' ranging from Princess Bride to Fifth Element to Now and Then.

You can catch her with her husband and their friends, sampling every single thing (it's a rule!) sent in their monthly Universal Yums snack box- Mexico has been her favorite! If she has a spare moment, you can usually find her with books and coffee, lounging in her most comfortable sweats.
